  Helllllllo Xangans,

  My brother is fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Team In Training and would really like your help!  I’m passing along his link and hoping he might get a little closer to his goal through my humble little Xanga.  I guess this is kind of my fault because a couple of Christmases ago, I gave him a marathon and he did pretty decently for somebody with knees that were falling apart at 4:12.  Now he’s hooked and he’s found a way to give back to society and celebrate physical fitness through Team In Training.  Can you help?  Thanks!!

  I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

  I am running in the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28, 2012 to help raise awareness of this dreadful disease.

  Please help me by making a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures. No amount is too small and every penny you donate to goes toward research to cure Leukemia and Lymphoma.
