OW. The anesthesia has worn off and I’m feeling it all now!
House owner STILL hasn’t contacted me and this is her second month of missing a mortgage payment. I can’t make the payment for her. Bank won’t let me pay it because it reveals information, insurance won’t give me personal information. As they shouldn’t. So I’m one step closer to abandoning the house. I can’t believe I’m in this position. I’m trying to buy this place but there’s nobody to buy FROM. Ahhhh, if I had the luxury of traveling the world and not worrying about material possessions. Or discarding 112 year old houses like tissue.

What a situation to find yourself in – possibly losing your home because the owner has evaporated. Sounds like time for Plan B if the owner does not respond to your requests to take the house off her hands! I wonder if she is ill someplace.
Tomorrow is test results day. I hope they find something readily fixable.
plan b is sounding like the plan. how long can you wait before someone shows up and boards up the joint for non-payment? sorry about the pain. hoping and praying it’s an easy fix.

I’m rooting for bionics legs. I heard from her last night, finally! But I’m wondering if it will take another 10 weeks to hear from her again, probably when the house accidentally burns down or they board the house. I’m not sure what happens with foreclosure for non-payment – am I a squatter?!
